Monday, September 4th

Labor Day – No School – Holiday

Monday is the fourth and final day of the 71st Annual North Carolina Apple Festival in Historic Downtown Hendersonville. The King Apple Parade kicks off a 2:30 pm which will feature North Henderson Senior Class President, Miranda Burleson, as the “Apple Ambassador”. The Marching Knights will also be in the route. Tuesday, September 5th

The Lady Knight Volleyball team kicks off it’s first of 3 games in as many days by visiting the Rams of T.C. Roberson. North looks to add their second conference win. The match begins at 5:30 pm.

Soccer looks to grab their first win of the season traveling to A.C. Reynolds to face the Rockets beginning at 6:00 pm.

Wednesday, September 6th

Cross Country heads north to Jackson County to participate in the Watermelon Run at Jackson County Recreation Complex. The already dominate men’s team looks to add their 3rd win of the season. The race starts at 4:00 pm.

Volleyball host cross-town rival, East Henderson in their second game of the week. Come out to Tom Pryor Gymnasium beginning at 5:00 pm.

Thursday, September 7th

North Henderson Volleyball concludes their short week hosting the Erwin Warriors at 5:00 pm.

The Knight Soccer team travels to Asheville to face the Cougars starting at 6:30 pm.

Friday, September 8th

The Western North Carolina Agricultural Center is hosting the annual North Carolina Mountain State Fair which kicks off at 9:00 am. Rides open at 10:00 am and there will be free gate admission for students Kindergarten through 12th grade until 6:00 pm. “Friday Night Frenzy” will last from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am Saturday morning where there is one price admission for $25 which includes unlimited rides.

Saturday, August 19th

The Mountain State Fair continues with day two. Hours are: Gates open at 9:00 am, Rides open at 10:00 am, and the Fair closes at 12:00 am, Sunday morning.
