Staff Report

North Henderson hosted previously unbeaten Franklin on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights easily handled the Panthers by a score of 10-3 and picked up its first conference win of the season.

During the game, players wore mismatched socks to support those who are affected by Down Syndrome on National Down Syndrome Awareness Day, and notably assistant coach Alex Suder, who has Down Syndrome. Suder has been apart of the Knight program since 2009. Before the game, players also showed their appreciation for their teachers on Teacher Appreciation Night.

Below are pictures of Tuesday’s festivities. All photos were taken by Brandon Netto.
