On Friday, North Henderson’s FBLA chapter went to the Western Regional Conference. The conference was hosted by Franklin High School. There were chapters from many schools from the Western Region of North Carolina.
At the conference, students competed in events and attended workshops. North sent twelve students. Four of those students competed in events: Sarah Freeman competed in Public Speaking I, Adela Gutierrez competed in Word Processing, Aaron Katzenberger competed in Job Interview, and Justice Keaser competed in Computer Applications. The competitive events test students on skills needed in the business world.
