After blazing through the first three rounds, the Knights (4-0) had multiple wrestlers advance to championship matches.

North’s Josh Blatt (120), who usually wrestles in the 113 weight class, had a battle on his hands after being down 4-0 going into the second period.

Although, the defending 106 state champion fought back in the two remaining periods to tie things up at 4 going into overtime.

In extra time, Blatt earned two points early to go on to win, 6-4.

Josh Feliz (North) easily beat his opponent in the 126 weight class 5-0 in the first round.

Paul Searcy (152), who earned his 100th win last week, dominated his opponent throughout three periods to win, 5-1.

Nathan King (170), after being down 2-0 early on, used an early take down seconds into the overtime period to win, 4-2.

Josh Blatt won Most Outstanding Wrestler in the lower weight division, while Searcy won MOW in the upper weight division.
