For the last four years, seniors Teegan Bullock, Caroline Marsh and Camryn Nicholson have spent their fall nights playing volleyball in front of vast crowds at North Henderson.
On Monday night, the trio led the Lady Knights to a 3-0 win over Pisgah (25-15, 25-14, 25-17) in their last home regular season game of their decorated careers.
As volleyball as gotten to be apart of their daily lifestyle, the seniors had much to say after their special night.
“Over the past four years, I’ve had the best relationships with my teammates and coaches, and we have been able to grow as more than just a team, but as a family, and I’m very thankfully for our unit,” senior hitter Caroline Marsh said.
“[Senior night] is emotional because we won’t ever be able to play as a group again and I love playing with this group,” senior libero Camryn Nicholson said.
“It just feels really good to have been able to bond with this team for the past four years with friends that help you play better,” senior setter Teegan Bullock added.
The three seniors had a favorable ending to their careers as all three were beneficial catalysts in North’s confernce win.
Caroline Marsh, who ended the game with one of her routine powerful kills, led the team with 24 kills, 6 digs, and 6 blocks. Teegan Bullock tallied 28 assists, 16 digs, and 6 aces, and Camryn Nicholson notched 7 digs and 2 aces.
In what was a quiet and quick win, North moves to 16-2 on the season and 10-2 in the confernce.
With three regular season games left in the season, the Lady Knights will now travel to Brevard this Thursday with a JV starting time of 5 p.m.
