Making the Hendersonville All-County High School Honors Choir is a remarkable achievement and dream of many choir students. This choir lets students audition from all four public high schools, area private schools, and home schools come together to select the county’s foremost singers for a one-day clinic and subsequent concert.

This year, North Henderson High School is proud to announce that three talented choir students have been chosen to participate in such an elite program. Skylar Turpin, Brittany Brewer, and Brooklyn Galloway, under the guidance of North’s Choir teacher Mr. Richard Cagle, auditioned against several of their peers for the select few spots that this organization allows for North’s Choir.

Each of these students have proved to have extensive musical knowledge and perseverance. Junior Skylar Turpin has been actively involved in choir since her Freshman year and has made the All-County Honors Choir for the past three years. Senior Brooklyn Galloway has been in choir for a total of nine years and is excited to be going to All-County for the first time. Lastly, Senior Brittany Brewer, who has had only  year of choir experience, has also made All-County for the first time.

The concert for the All-County Honors Choir will be at Grace Lutheran Church on November 19th at 2:00pm, admission will be five dollars a person.

The next time you see any of these students in North’s Hallways be sure to congratulate them!
